How It Works

1. Contestants under 18 years of age must have parent or legal guardian fill out the application and give consent.
2. Contestants will face a plate of 5 hot wings—each one doused in The Last Dab Thermageddon sauce (the hottest wing sauce on Hot Ones!)
3. After eating each wing, the contestant must answer a trivia question.
4. You must swallow the wing bite fully before answering. No spitting, no hiding food!
5. Trivia questions must be answered within 20 seconds of being asked.
6. Each correct trivia answer allows the contestant to move on to the next wing.
7. Get a trivia question wrong? You can still eat the next wing—but you’ll be behind in points!
8. Water, milk, and napkins will be provided after the final round. (Or you can take a milk break with a penalty to your points.)
9. Once the contestant has made it to the final wing (or drops out) their points will be tallied, and we move on to the next contestant.
10. Winner takes home the golden chicken!

• 1 point per correct trivia answer
• 5 bonus points if you complete all wings without drinking or wiping
• Highest score wins. In the case of a tie, we’ll go into a Sudden Death Round with lightning trivia!

The Hot Wing Challenge at the Pahrump Chili Cook-Off involves inherent risks, including but not limited to consumption of extremely spicy food (The Last Dab Thermageddon sauce), potential mouth or throat burns, gastrointestinal distress, allergic reactions, vomiting, public exposure, and participation in a public event. Do not participate in this challenge if you have any health conditions that may have a negative reaction to consumption of extremely spicey and/or hot foods.
