The Pahrump Chili Cook-Off is an annual festival that celebrates the best chili cookers from around the world all while raising money for the youth in Nevada! The Pahrump Chili Cook-Off takes place every year on the 2nd to last weekend in March and goes for 3 full days.
No, the festival is free to attend. There is a fee to taste chili and participate in certain inner festival activities.
The carnival starts at 5pm on Friday, 12pm Saturday and Sunday. The rides go until 11pm Friday & Saturday, 10pm on Sunday
Chili tasting is Saturday and Sunday from 11am till the chili runs out. Chili can last as long as 4pm or run out as early as 2pm, depending on how many attendees participate. We recommend getting there by noon so you don't risk missing out on tasting the chili!
Visit chilicookoff.com to enter. From there you can enter the Nevada State, the Silver State, or both, competitions.
Vendor applications for 2026 are now closed. Check back in August for the 2027 applications.
Discount carnival pre-sale tickets are available on our website, cutoff date to get your pre-sale discount tickets is March 10th. Tickets may be picked up opening day at the DJ booth located next to the main stage in Petrack Park. No refunds after March 10th.
You can pre-register for contests through the applications section of this website. If you do not see a pre-registration or sign-up sheet for the contest you want to enter, it only means you must sign-up the day of at the park. All sign-ups can be found at the Pahrump Theatre booth located next to the main stage in the park.
