History of Pahrump Chili Cook-Off
The chili cook-off was started 14 years ago by Pahrump's own Ron Frazier (pictured left in photo). He started the cook-off with the intent to help the local community and non-profit organizations within Pahrump. Ron passed on his event to Kelli Sater, another Pahrump local who shared the same visions as Ron, back in 2019 and since then it has continued to grow in size every year! Ron and his wife Marion both passed away and every year we are dedicating the cook-off in both of their honor. They loved people, they loved their community and they looooved chili!
What to Expect for 2026
The Pahrump Chili Cook-off Festival is a three-day celebration of food, fun, and community spirit held at Petrack Park in Pahrump, Nevada. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of activities including live entertainment, contests, a carnival, vendors, and of course—plenty of chili tasting and competition!
This year’s festival is especially meaningful, as a portion of the proceeds will benefit three incredible local organizations:
- Pahrump Disabilities Outreach Program (PDOP) – supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.
- Pahrump Theatre Company – enriching the community through performing arts and cultural events.
- Bikers Against Bullies – a nonprofit dedicated to creating awareness and standing up against bullying.
More than just an event, the Chili Cook-off brings neighbors, families, and visitors together to celebrate community pride while raising funds for causes that make a real difference.

The Car Show Returns!
With such an amazing and huge turnout last year, we couldn't resist bringing back the Pahrump Chili Cook-off Car and Motorcycle Show to you again this year!
We have multiple categories and fun for our spectators and competitors!
We can't wait to see what variety of cars and motorcycles show up this time!

Calling all kids aged 6 and under!! We are taking you to the races!!
Does your child have an electric car that has been sitting, collecting dust? Bring it to the park March 21st and enter them in the
"Little Chili Pepper Grand Prix"
Even if you don't have kids, come cheer on the competitors as they race to the finish line!
